Weapons

The standard issue Blaster Gun is a light weight, medium velocity, projectile weapon. It has a slow firing rate of about 2 bullets per second. Due to the nature of onboard space fighting, bullet range limitations have been implemented to ensure minimum hull damage, and to prevent the creation of vacuums, during fire fights. It's range has been limited to 55 meters. The Blaster Gun does not take traditional ammunition, and will never run out of ammo. Misfires and bullet jams are extremely rare with this weapon. It's reliability outweighs it's slow firing rate, and has made it the weapon of choice amongst many Special Forces members.
The Machine Gun is a medium weight, high velocity, projectile weapon. It has a standard firing rate of 7 bullets per second. Due to the nature of onboard space fighting, bullet range limitations have been implemented to ensure minimum hull damage, and to prevent the creation of vacuums, during fire fights. It's range has been limited to 100 meters. The Machine Gun takes standard 5.56mm ammunition. Misfires and bullet jams are not common with this weapon, but do occur. It's low production cost, and adequate firing rate makes the Machine Gun the standard issue amongst Assault Infantry.
The Shot Gun is a medium weight, medium velocity, projectile weapon. Although it fires 5 burst shot bullets at a time, it's firing rate is slow, with a little less than 2 bursts per second. Due to the nature of onboard space fighting, bullet range limitations have been implemented to ensure minimum hull damage, and to prevent the creation of vacuums, during fire fights. It's range has been limited to 90 meters. The Shot Gun requires burst shot ammunition, and can uses up to 5 at a time. Misfires and bullet jams are extremely rare with this weapon. Although it's accuracy is extremely poor, the Shot Gun is able to deliver maximum damage in close range.
The Flame Gun is a medium weight, flame weapon. Designed by the MWA, the Flame Gun is a successful miniaturisation of the Flame Thrower. It uses 2 armour plated cartridges, attached to the bottom of the gun, making it much more portable than it's predecessor. The cartridges contain a compressed mixture of liquids, that when heated create a high burning flame. It's a very short ranged weapon, which deals a lot of damage.
The Lightning Gun is a light weight, energy weapon. Created by the MWA, and currently still a prototype, the Lightning Gun is a top secret project. It emits a high energy bolt, and although the bolts aren't electric in nature, it mimics lightning. It's full potentials have not yet been recorded, but it was designed for long range, and high damage. This is the future of modern warfare.
